Sean Fagan is a former rugby player and now author/journalist specialising in the history of both rugby codes.

He has written feature pieces and news column articles on rugby union, rugby league & related topical comment for Inside Sport, The Sun-Herald, Sydney Morning Herald, The Sunday Telegraph, Foxsports, TheRoar and other major newspapers, magazines, websites [ARU, NRL, Sea Eagles, Storm] and match-day programs; he has also appeared on radio & television [Ch9, ABC & FoxSportsNews], worked in tv/dvd documentary script writing & interviews, and created copy for digital content [sample], museum exhibitions, memorabilia & merchandise. From 2001-11 he operated the popular and revered RL1908.com rugby league history website.

Sean has written and published a number of highly regarded and much sought-after books, the most recent The First Lions of Rugby, the story of the 1888 British Lions rugby and Aussie rules playing tour of Australia.
